GLENTHOMPSON-Dunkeld coach Guy Sevior says the Rams have put their disappointing qualifying final loss behind them.
The Rams play Tatyoon in the first semi-final at Lake Bolac tomorrow.
Glenthompson-Dunkeld suffered a 66-point loss to Moyston-Willaura in the qualifying final.
“Late last Saturday and Sunday was pretty low but you get over it and worry about the next week,” Sevior said.
“We were good enough to get the double chance and now we have to use it.”
Sevior said the Pumas outclassed his side to advance to the second semi-final.
“Moyston-Willaura is shaping up pretty well. We struggled with the way they moved the footy really quickly and weren’t able to get on top of their run,” Sevior said.
“They won it in close and fed it out to their runners.”
Tatyoon played Penshurst in the 2012 grand final.
Sevior said the Hawks couldn’t be taken lightly.
“They are a really good team. They are hard and skilful,” he said.
“When we are on we hit in hard and open it up on the outside.”
The Rams made four changes at the selection table, with Sevior returning from injury.
Ruckman Josh Dawson Luke McDonald and Tom Blackford also came into the line-up.
