The flag hopefuls go head-to-head at Cavendish today chasing a shot at reigning premier Heywood in the grand final.
The ledger stands 2-1 in favour of Coleraine, which won the sides’ most recent clash in the qualifying final, by 83 points.
Maroons coach Matt Dunn said Dartmoor had a distinct size advantage compared to his side.
But Dunn put faith in his players’ ability to run the ball and use their speed.
Onballer Eric Guthrie, a teenager who has featured in the best players 13 times this season, is one player who could prove damaging.
“We’ve got a real good mixture of age and size and we like to run and carry the footy,” Dunn said. “Dartmoor are a physical side.
‘‘They’ve got some dangerous players we need to keep in check.’’
Coleraine has been the second-best side throughout the SWDFNL season and Dunn said he would be disappointed if they couldn’t make the decider.
He said there were positives to emerge from their second semi-final defeat to unbeaten Heywood last weekend.
“We had our chances to win, it was probably just a lapse in the second quarter which ended up costing us,” he said.
“The other three quarters were a solid effort. If we can put those little things in place then we will be better for it.”
Heywood will play Cavendish in the reserves preliminary final. The winner will meet Westerns in the grand final.
Westerns plays Heathmere in the A grade netball preliminary final, with Cavendish waiting in the decider.
Westerns and Cavendish clash in B grade while Heywood and Cavendish face off in C grade.
