Red Hot Chili Peppers will play the Big Day Out for the first time since 2000.
LAST week's Big Day Out line-up "leak" proved that with enough educated guesses you can get a few things right.
Turns out Red Hot Chili Peppers are indeed coming to Australia for some BDO exclusive shows (although the majority of the other predicted bands aren't).
RHCP last played the BDO in 2000 off the back of their Californication album.
Also on the bill are The Killers, who were a highlight at the 2007 festival.
Meanwhile, Yeah Yeah Yeahs will make their BDO debut, as will Vampire Weekend, Band Of Horses, and Animal Collective.
Likely to headline the Boiler Room are The Bloody Beetroots, Kaskade, and B.O.B.
And making up the rest of the names on the BDO posters are Sleigh Bells, Foals, Alabama Shakes, 360, Crystal Castles, Pretty Lights, Off!, Grinspoon, Against Me!, Nicky Romero, Morgan Page, Logo, Gary Clark Jr, Every Time I Die, Delta Spirit, Childish Gambino, Me, Hunting Grounds, Jeff The Brotherhood, Death Grips 20, Adventure Club, Jagwar Ma, House Vs Hurricane, Avalanche City, Toucan, Helena, Nina Las Vegas, and Sampology.
