POLICE have appealed for witnesses to the indecent assault of a 19-year-old woman at Warrnambool’s Deakin University golf course last month.
Investigators said the victim was walking through the grounds on Mahoney’s Road near the Hopkins River about 6pm on June 26 when an unknown man grabbed, punched and indecently assaulted her. He was last seen running on Mahoney’s Road.
The offender is described aged 30 to 40-years-old, with a clean-shaven face and a solid build. At the time of the incident he was wearing a hooded jumper and blue jeans.
