WARRNAMBOOL Racing Club is offering free entry to patrons who attend the club's re-scheduled race meeting this Saturday.
Sandown's race meeting for Wednesday (tomorrow) has been abandoned which opened up discussions between Racing Victoria and the WRC about hosting a meeting this Saturday.
The new meeting will see the running of the $100,000 Kevin Lafferty Hurdle and the $100,000 Thackeray Steeplechase plus two other jumps races on the seven race program.
WRC CEO John Green said the club is confident that the meeting will go ahead pending on the weather.
