SEVERAL whales are enticing spectators at Port Fairy's East Beach.
Two or three whales were spotted this morning in front of the surf club area.
They are within 100 metres of shore and easily visible.

It is not known what species they are although two Southern Rights were sighted outside the Lee Breakwater in Portland on Friday afternoon.
There are still no reports of whales at Warrnambool's Logan's Beach.
Last year the first mother and calf were sighted in Warrnambool on June 4, but disappeared the next day. It was then another three weeks before the next sighting.
