THE opportunity to snag a bargain and view some of the finest machines on wheels will drag big crowds to Koroit this weekend.
The Koroit Lions Club is holding its annual swap meet and show ’n’ shine this Saturday at Victoria Park with the gates opening bright and early at 7am.
Koroit Lions Club member Bruce Brown said interest had been strong for the day.
“We are expecting a really good day, especially if the weather stays fine,” Mr Brown said.
“Over the years we have had some great cars come along for the show ’n’ shine and early indications are this year will be the best yet.
“And the swap meet side of things is looking really solid as well with plenty of interest.”
The Lions club is expecting more than 40 sites for the swap meet with people also welcome to book car boot sites.
The sites are very affordable with just $15 for a swap meet site and $10 for a car boot site.
As well as cars for the show ’n’ shine there will also be motorbikes and vintage trucks on display ensuring diversity for onlookers.
Entry is just $5 with proceeds going to the Koroit Lions Club for its community projects.
