Art gives food for thought in Warrnambool

ART enthusiasts will have a feast tonight as they enjoy a progressive dinner at four galleries around Warrnambool.

The annual Knife, Fork and Brush event has been running 14 years as a fund-raiser for galleries and a way of promoting artworks.

It starts at 6.30pm with champagne and h’orderves at Warrn-ambool and District Artists Society’s rooms followed by main course and music at Warrnambool Art Gallery.

Then it will be off to Scope Gallery for dessert, wine and more classical music to be topped with coffee, port and cheese plus jazz music at Sandpiper Gallery.

“It’s a great night out and a chance to catch up with what’s going on in the art scene,” said Scope Gallery operator Liza McCosh.

“There are 100 tickets made available at $55 each and there are still some left.” For inquiries call 0410 464 330.
