FIRE crews have controlled a small fire that broke out a hay truck travelling on the Henty Highway in Myamyn, north of Heywood this afternoon.
Around five CFA tankers arrived on scene shortly before 1pm to find the truck ablaze.
A spokesperson at the Heywood Incident Control Centre said crews quickly stopped flames from spreading after embers leaped into grassland on the side of the highway
"There were no reported injuries," the spokesman said.
The Henty Highway has remained open.
