Maddie leads Ollie on a test of canine obedience in Warrnambool

ALMOST 1200 entries were received for the Warrnambool back-to-back obedience, agility and jumping dog trials held on Harris Street Reserve at the weekend.

Warrnambool trials secretary Mick Byron said the sun-blessed event ran smoothly.

“We received 1195 entries,” he said.

“This event has been going 20 years and in the last seven or eight years has really taken off. It’s now the biggest trials in Victoria, this weekend and the event we run on Melbourne Cup weekend.”
