NEW Warrnambool father Tom Morgan is desperately pleading for the return of a computer tablet stolen from his car which holds irreplaceable photos and videos.
Mr Morgan said that his grey Ford Falcon sedan was parked at his Eddington Street home overnight Thursday when offenders forced open a window to gain entry to the vehicle.
A downhill racing skateboard with heavy duty large green wheels and the Galaxy tablet were stolen from the car.
Mr Morgan said the tablet was of enormous person value as it contained many images of his five-month-old son Isaiah.
“It’s of great sentimental value because it has a lot of photos and videos of Isaiah during his first five months, stuff that’s irreplaceable,” he said. “We just want it back.
“There’s a block on the tablet so it can’t be used.
“We just want it returned.
“There’s a lot of firsts on the footage — when he started smiling and the first time he had solid food — stuff like that.”
The theft happened between 11.30pm Thursday and about 7.30am yesterday when it was noticed.
Warrnambool police crime scene officers yesterday inspected the car and collected evidence.
Anyone with information is requested to contact the Warrnambool police station or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
