Warrnambool Surf Life Saving Club nippers will don their board shorts for their annual fund-raising campaign tomorrow and are encouraging everyone to join in.

Proceeds from Boardies Day help surf lifesaving clubs buy vital rescue equipment and train members.

“From first aid kits, fuel for the IRBs (inflatable rescue boats), rescue equipment and defibrillators, right through to new beach flags, everything you see on the beach we need to raise money for, and Boardies Day is the perfect opportunity to help us raise those vital funds,” Warrnambool club president Rebel Noter saidR.

Schools, businesses and individuals throughout Victoria and Australia can register online to take part in Boardies Day at boardiesday.com.au
