Gallery: Car rolls in residential street after crash

A WARRNAMBOOL man was taken to hospital after his car flipped after a collision last night.

Police said the man, aged in his 20s, was travelling south on Morriss Road near Pecten Avenue when a utility pulled out of the Morriss Road shops carpark.

Acting Sergeant Rachell Field, from Warrnambool Highway Patrol, said the station wagon rolled after striking the ute.

Acting Sergeant Field said she urged drivers to pay due care and attention when pulling out of side roads.

Police, paramedics and SES were called to the crash at 6.30pm.

The driver of the ute, a man aged in his 20s, was not injured. The driver of the station wagon was taken to Warrnambool Base Hospital for observation.
