PORT Fairy police are on the trail of a late-night hoon.
The reckless driver disturbed the sleep of dozens of residents in the early hours on Friday, performing numerous burn-outs, Leading Senior Constable Chris Carr said.
“We’ve had numerous reports of dangerous driving last Friday, January 18, about 12.30am,” he said.
“It happened over a period of about 15 to 20 minutes in the East Beach area, around Beach Street, and also the South Beach residential area and other parts of town.
“I’d like for anyone who may have also heard, or in particular seen, the car involved to contact me at the Port Fairy police station on 5568 1007.”
