Thieves fail to get in

POLICE are investigating two attempted burglaries with thieves smashing a window pane to gain entry to a Warrnambool business on the weekend.

On Saturday night there was an attempted burglary at Warrnambool Natural Medicine Centre on the corner of Raglan Parade and Hider Street.

Thieves attempted to force entry through the rear door of the business.

Police said a window pane in a glass door was smashed but the offenders were unable to gain entry.

Warrnambool CIU is also investigating an attempted burglary at a home in Koroit Street last week.

Between Wednesday and Thursday thieves have gone to the back door of the residential address and forced it open.

Nothing was stolen from the home.

Anyone who heard or saw anything from either incidents should contact Warrnambool police on 5560 1333.
