Grassmere defeated Warrnambool by 126 runs at Jones Oval yesterday to finish its three pool matches with two wins and a draw.
Justin Fedley made a stellar 101 to lift the team to 180 from 44.5 overs before Louis Kew took 4-15 to rip through Warrnambool's middle order.
Tom Mahony and Lachlan Glare also took two wickets as Warrnambool was all out for 54 off 25.4 overs.
Grassmere will take on Casterton in a first-versus-fourth preliminary final at Jetty Flat today.
Warrnambool will meet South West in the other preliminary final between the second and third-ranked teams.
Justin came to the crease with Grassmere at 2-17 and proceeded to steady the ship.
He was dropped on about 70 and celebrated reaching three figures with "a bit of a fist pump, a wave of the bat".
Justin said coach Paul West had asked for one of the top five batsmen to stay at the crease until the 40-over mark.
After settling in, he was content to play that role.
"I felt pretty good from the get-go. I was hitting them pretty well. They just came to me," he said.
"It was a long time to make the 50 and from there I batted on and kept going."
Justin said his previous best score was 60. Contrary to most century-makers, the bulk of his runs came through the off side.
"I play a lot through my off side. I'm not the greatest through the leg," he said.
The century overshadowed one of the better bowling performances of the tournament from Warrnambool's Jacob Threlfall.
Jacob took 5-20 from 6.5 overs.
In the other division two match, South West scored its first win of the under 17 tournament against Casterton at Brierly Turf.
Zac Anderson (4-16) and Liam Balcombe (3-6) helped South West bowl Casterton out for 89 in 35.3 overs.
South West was 8-189 from 44 overs in reply.
