BREAKING NEWS: Drik Drik residents are preparing for the worst as a huge bushfire approaches the farming hamlet this afternoon.
Embers from the blaze, which has already burnt almost 4500 hectares west of Portland since Friday, were blowing over homes, and farmers were rushing to move livestock to safe places.
Less than 10 kilometres further north, Dartmoor residents are also on edge after this morning being told at a community meeting that they should decide whether to stay or leave.
Fire fighting efforts today have been hampered by three wind changes, throwing plans to control into blaze into disarray.
More than 200 personnel and multiple aircraft are involved in the attack.
