Police hunt knife-wielding robber

Police are searching for a knife-wielding man who held up a convenience store in Geelong early Thursday morning. Geelong Crime Investigation Unit detectives have been told the man entered the Settlement Road, Belmont, store just after 3.20am. The offender went to the service counter, where he brought a can of drink and when the register was opened he produced a large knife and threatened the attendant with it, demanding cash.
