Roads in Warrnambool’s CBD and foreshore precinct will be closed for several hours during Wunta Fiesta events on the weekend of February 1-3.

On February 1 Liebig Street south between Merri and Timor streets will be closed from 8.30am-8.45am for the Undy 500 run.
Later in the day it will be closed from Timor Street to Smith Avenue, along with part of Timor Street, between 6pm to 1am for a concert and food court on the Civic Green.
The following day Viaduct Road will be closed from 9am-11am for a junior triathlon, while the next day Viaduct Road, Worm Bay Road and Stanley Street will be closed for a triathlon from 9am-11am.
City councillor Robert Askew reminded council officers to give ample notification to businesses and residents.
Cr Peter Hulin suggested more events be held at the southern end of Liebig Street on a regular basis, highlighting last month’s community Christmas festival as an example.
