After a year of touring in exotic locations ( Thailand, Indonesia and India), multiple trips to the United States and countless Australian shows , the Gold Coast-based DJ and model (pictured) will close out her 2012 schedule with a session at the Whalers Hotel tomorrow night.
Starting with childhood lessons in violin, Robertson's background in classical music shows she's more than a model-turned-DJ clicking buttons on a playlist.
To those unfamiliar, Robertson has been touted as the newest face representing Australia globally and taking the world by storm, both behind the decks and in front of the camera.
Prior to 2010, she worked full-time in fashion as one of the faces of Gold Coast Fashion Week and modelled for Versace and labels such as Calvin Klein, G-STAR, Veve Swimwear and Fresh Clothing.
Two years later the modelling has taken a back seat and she has established herself on the DJ circuit, carving her way through the Australian dance music scene, as well as overseas.
A few weeks after performing at the Whalers Hotel in January this year, the former Playboy Bunny had the honour of being invited to DJ the Grammy Awards after-party at the Playboy Mansion, performing in front of a star-studded audience including Paris Hilton, Busta Rhymes, Chris Brown, P.Diddy and Hugh Hefner.
Tomorrow's show comes almost a year to the day after Robertson's first Warrnambool appearance.
Since then her touring resume has grown significantly, with her list of support slots now including artists such as Snoop Dog, Flo Rida, LMFAO, Moby, Justice, Calvin Harris, Pendulum, Steel Panther, Stanton Warriors, Bombs Away, Sneaky Sound System, Stafford Brothers and Timmy Trumpet.
