A short time ago, the WDCA defeated South West Cricket in the division one grand final. After making 7-172 from its 20 overs, the WDCA restricted SWC to 9-103. It is the WDCA's second consecutive triumph in the annual Twenty-20 competition. It has dominated the event, winning the past three completed festivals with the 2010 festival washed out.
Earlier the WDCA, thanks to a brutal display by opening batsman Josh Stapleton, chased down SWC's 150 with four overs to spare in the division two grand final.
