A HAMILTON man was yesterday remanded in custody until February next year after an alleged stabbing in Hamilton early Saturday.

The man, 22, appeared in Portland Magistrates Court yesterday and the magistrate remanded him in custody.
Late Sunday, Hamilton police detectives charged the man and an 18-year-old Hamilton woman with intentionally causing serious injury
The woman was released on bail late Sunday.
The stabbing allegedly took place at a house in King Street about 1.30am Saturday.
On Sunday, police detectives appealed for witnesses, saying they believed more than one person was involved in the incident.
It was believed the victim left an address in Kenna Avenue about 1.15am and was found at a Bree Road address about two hours later.
The 22-year-old was taken to Hamilton Hospital with serious injuries.
