TERANG racer Brad Warren celebrated the eve of his birthday in style at Avalon Raceway on Saturday.
The day before he turned 22, Warren went about leaving one lasting mark on the Wingless Sprint Series as a 21-year-old.
He made the A main of the round-six instalment and tore up the Avalon track.
Warren motored past drivers on the outside groove to second position and held his nerve behind Mark Laity.
A restart was called with eight rotations to go of the 20-lap final.
Warren took the opportunity to take the top of the track and powered past Laity for the win. Geelong’s Chris Halesworth was third.
