MININERA and District Football League has again lit up its fixture with two night matches.
League vice-president David Wade explained the league played two games under lights last year.
"The same clubs wanted to do it again this year," he said.
"We had a very good response last year and had good crowds at both games so we decided to do it again."
Tatyoon will host Moyston-Willaura in the season opener under lights on April 10 while in round three, the Hawks will clash against Glenthompson-Dunkeld.
"Th e Wimmera league has a night game in Ararat in round two so we didn't want to clash with that," Wade said.
"We also wanted to schedule both games early in the season before winter."
There are no matches scheduled for the Queen's Birthday weekend.
"We always have that long weekend off," Wade said.
"We don't play interleague, we haven't for a few years. It's just good to give everyone a break in the middle of the year." Round five will be a pink round for breast cancer awareness and fund-raising.
"We'll use pink footballs and netballs and there will also be an opportunity for people to maybe wear pink socks instead of their normal football socks," Wade said.
"We'll have raffles on the day as well to raise money for breast cancer.
"We had the pink round last year and I'm not sure exactly how much money we raised but it was very successful."
Tatyoon will have to wait until round eight to seek redemption against Penshurst, which last year shattered the Hawks' bid for a fourth successive premiership.
The league's finals series will start August 21-22 with the qualifying and elimination matches. The grand final is on September 11 - a week after Warrnambool and District's season decider and a week before Hampden and Western Border's grand finals.
