Footy greats on tour

09 Sep, 2010 05:00 AM
Finals fever will be heightened at Warrnambool Primary School today when it is visited by current and former AFL players.

Matthew Richardson, Mark Ricciuto, Danny Frawley, Dustin Fletcher, Chris Newman, Mark McVeigh and Brian Taylor will all be cruising around the south-west on the Toyota Good For Footy Bus.

The tour includes stops in Hamilton, Warrnambool and Colac today.

Warrnambool Primary School will host the stars from 11.45am to 1pm.

Toyota regional marketing manager Justin Hood said the tour was often a rare experience for youngsters.

"With the tour now in its third year, I am very proud of the important role it continues to play for grassroots footy clubs," he said.

"For many of these junior fans, it will be a once in a lifetime opportunity to meet their AFL heroes."

The AFL stars will be conducting coaching sessions and skills clinics.
