ANY club thinking about poaching Tyler Dittloff from Lismore-Derrinallum should forget it.
After the 20-year-old claimed Mininera and District Football League's best and fairest on Monday night, he signalled his desire to stay with the Demons next season.
"I'll still be at Lismore," he said.
"The club hasn't won a premiership yet so I don't think I will be leaving until we win one.
"We've had a pretty good team the last couple of years, we just haven't been able to go all the way.
"We just need to be a bit more consistent.
"We didn't really play four quarters all year."
Dittloff has just completed his second season at Lismore-Derrinallum, which bowed out in the elimination final last month to reigning premier Penshurst.
He played his juniors at East Point in the Ballarat Football League, where claimed the league under 18 goalkicking award in 2007 while in 2008, he bagged the under 18 league best and fairest.
"You don't play footy for the individual success, it's more about the team," he said.
"We won a couple of premierships in a row at East Point."
The Ballarat resident decided to play with the Demons because of mates.
"Lismore was my first time in seniors," he said.
"I started (my career) playing in the forward line but in my last year of under 18s I played in the midfield.
"That's where I've played since I've been at Lismore."
His background as a forward is evident as he was the Demons' second highest goalkicker, slotting 23 goals in 2010.
Dittloff polled 22 votes in Monday night's count at Willaura while runner-up Jarryd Graham, of Tatyoon, attracted 19.
The winner was shocked by the victory, saying he didn't think he would feature in the top five.
"I was pretty consistent I suppose but I've had better years," he said.
