07 Feb, 2012 03:00 AM
THE top Warrnambool and District Cricket Association (WDCA) under 13 teams will play off in semi-finals starting this Friday.

East conference ladder leader Russells Creek hosts second-ranked west side Merrivale at Mack Oval.

West conference powerhouse Dennington Dogs welcomes Nirranda Knights, which finished second on the east ladder.

The semi-finals will be played over two nights — this Friday and next.

Games start at 5.20pm but can start earlier due to light if mutually agreed.

Each side is entitled to 24 overs on both days of play.

Positional finals will also start this Friday, and will be contested over two nights.

Koroit Saints hosts Wesley CBC, Port Fairy welcomes Nestles and Brierly Blue travels to Allansford.

Brierly White hosts West Panthers and Woodford hits the road to play East Warrnambool YCW.
