Bushrangers bowl in to town

07 Jul, 2010 01:00 AM
VICTORIAN Bushrangers' bowlers Bryce McGain and Will Sheridan were in Warrnambool earlier this week to share some of their cricketing wisdom as part of the annual Diamonds in the Bush training-based seminars.

A young group of under 18 and under 16 Western Waves cricketers attended the south-west clinic at Action Indoor Cricket Centre on Monday.

The budding group of batsmen, bowlers and wicketkeepers were taught techniques and theories of the sport, used from grassroots to premier level.

Hamilton also welcomed the cricket stars on Monday.

The Standard captured some of the action in Warrnambool.
