THREE former NBA and NBL players will headline the 40th Seaside Tournament in Warrnambool this weekend.

Chris Anstey, Lanard Copeland and Sedale Threatt have registered for the top men’s division. Australian Olympian Anstey, who enjoyed stints with noteable NBA sides Dallas Mavericks and Chicago Bulls, will be joined by fellow former Melbourne Tiger Copeland (Philadelphia 76ers and LA Clippers) and Threatt (Philadelphia 76ers, Chicago Bulls, Seattle Supersonics, LA Lakers and Houston Rockets) in the East Preston outfit during the three-day carnival.

East Preston battles Ballarat as a curtain-raiser for the Saturday Night Special feature match between North Adelaide Rockets and Melbourne Ballers at 8pm tomorrow.

Meanwhile, loyal tournament supporter Melbourne University has entered five teams across three divisions this weekend. A three-point shoot-out competition is also scheduled for tomorrow.

Qualifying is 11am and the top 10 will have a shoot-off at 7pm.
