Warrnambool police call for help with a 50-year-old case

31 Jan, 2012 03:00 AM
WARRNAMBOOL detectives are seeking to identify members of a child musical group that regularly performed on Warrnambool radio station 3YB in the late 1950s and early 1960s.

Detective Senior Constable Leigh Wheatley said the group, known as The Music Group, consisted of children taught and led by a music teacher who would often travel throughout the south-west district to conduct music lessons.

Detective Senior Constable Wheatley asked anyone with knowledge of the group contact the SOCIT unit at the Warrnambool police station or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
