A late model white Holden sedan with extensive damage was found Sunday morning on Warrong Siding Road and appeared to have been involved in at least one collision.
Senior Constable David Rook, of Macarthur, said police received a call from a member of the public later in the day about fences and trees damaged near the Princes Highway at Port Fairy east between Model Lane and Toolong Road.
A white Mitsubishi van was observed stopped at the damage and the two occupants picking up debris. “We believe the Commodore was involved in at least two collisions,” Senior Constable Rook said.
“Police would love to hear from anyone who saw or knows of the vehicle or its occupants.”
He can be contacted on 5576 1122.
