House fire sparked by electrical fault

AN electrical fault is being blamed for a house fire at Illowa that destroyed the main bedroom and caused extensive smoke damage.

Four fire trucks and about 15 fire crew members from

Warrnambool and Koroit rushed to the single-storey home just after 8.30am today.

A young girl was home at the time but escaped unharmed.
