Highway blocked after truck crash

09 Feb, 2010 08:28 AM
TRAFFIC along the Princes Highway between Port Fairy and Tyrendarra remains blocked after a truck overturned in Yambuk early this morning.

The b-double truck, carrying 39 tonnes of timber, was heading towards Warrnambool when it overturned at the Shaw River bridge just after 3am.

Senior Constable Chris Carr, of Port Fairy police, said the truck driver was taken to South West Healthcare's Warrnambool hospital to receive treatment for minor head injuries.
