07 Feb, 2012 03:21 PM
ANOTHER fire has been reported in the Koroit area - the 11th in just over four weeks.

Three fire crews rushed to the fire which was reported at 3.50pm on the Koroit-Mailors Flat Road at Southern Cross.

It was quickly brought under control.

Police are now patrolling the area.

It follows a fire at Illowa on Sunday night which police are still investigating.

Nine other blazes in the Koroit and Grassmere districts are also under investigation after police, arson squad investigators and explosive squad detectives deemed them to be suspicious.
