NOT only did dog owner Cathy Scotton win two separate dog shows in two days but she also won the raffle.
Mrs Scotton, from Melbourne, showed her Cairn terrier at the Warrnambool Kennel Club Championship Show on Saturday and the Lady Bay Kennel Club Championship Show on Sunday. Both were held at Friendly Societies Park.
Lady Bay Show spokesperson Melissa Hawkins said to win out of a field of more than 500 dogs, was a great achievement for the dog whose show name is Grand Australian Champion Joymont Secret Mission.
"To win it once is huge. Some dogs never win it. To win again is phenomenal.
"She was rapt," Ms Hawkins said.
Australian National Kennel Council judges travelled from Tasmania to officiate the competition.
Ms Hawkins said the two days were very competitive and there were 150 different breeds on show.
Ms Hawkins showed two of her own rare dogs which are the only two Phalenes in Victoria.
There is only 30 of the relatively new breed Australia wide.
"I liked the look of them. They're a lovely dog and have a lovely nature. They've taken off in the last few years" she said.
Her two-year-old won reserve challenge - the second best female of her type, beating 15 other dogs.
