WARRNAMBOOL ambulance paramedics didn't let the opportunity slip by them when Health Minister Daniel Andrews and Ambulance Victoria's chief executive Greg Sassella came to Warrnambool yesterday. They met the two leaders to outline their case and later held up placards highlighting their industrial campaign as visitors filed past for the official launch of the region's air ambulance helicopter.``We outlined how angry we were at the Government's attitude,'' said ambulance union Warrnambool delegate Jock O'Connor.``Hopefully the meeting conveyed our feelings and desire for a decent outcome.``We need government input to get things moving along.''The union started industrial action a week ago to ramp up its long campaign for longer rest breaks and higher pay.Mr Andrews later said a resolution would only be achieved through negotiation and not ``inappropriate'' protests.``The answer is through sitting down and talking, not by union industrial action,'' he said.``We want to provide a balanced wage outcome.''
